Nora Mattingly Interiors (NMI) is a boutique design and consulting firm specializing in interior design and decoration, as well as furniture and object design. Based in Providence, RI, we work in collaboration with a wide range of esteemed artisans and architects on select projects across the US.

NMI is committed to design that is timeless. Our work is classic yet current, values livability, and emphasizes rich textures and contemporary silhouettes.

Founding Principal Nora Mattingly received her MS in Interior Design from Pratt Institute. Prior to launching NMI, she served as Director of Interior Design at the acclaimed New York architecture firm D’Apostrophe Design, and as Director of Design at Leslie Jones & Associates, an award-winning design firm in Chicago with a focus on high-end residential interiors.
